FAQs On Online Ordering

Yes we do. People order from all over the world over and over again – and we’ve noticed that it’s getting cheaper to ship internationally all the time!

Our two main websites serve two separate sides of our online business: Hairgasm is our e-commerce website and is used to purchase our products, and Longhairs is our information and communication website, providing you with extended information and answers about our products, their usage and care, and acting as a communication tool between you and LML.

www.hairgasm.com

  • Product sales website.
  • Fully categorized catalog of available products.
  • Different products available to official MagicPack Members.
  • Online purchasing.
  • Anyone can register.
  • You create your own username and password.
  • Once a MagicPack is purchased, you become a MagicPack Member and are given access to members-only products.

www.longhairs.com

  • Information and communication website.
  • Categorized FAQs, tutorials, and testimonials for products.
  • Different FAQs and tutorials available for official MagicPack Members.
  • Appointment bookings for in-shop visits.
  • General public may not register.
  • When you become a MagicPack Member we create a username and password for you.
  • MagicPack Members are given a Daily Hair Diary to communicate with LML for ongoing support and guidance.

So, why two different logins?

For security and administration purposes, it is more sensible to separate the logins for the two sites. When you become a MagicPack Member and are given a login for the longhairs site, we will try to match your username to the one you use on hairgasm (if applicable). For security purposes we do not have the ability to view your existing password, so we cannot give you the same password on both sites.

If you are a MagicPack Member and would like to have the same username and password for both sites, when you login to www.longhairs.com with the username and password provided, simply visit the My Account page and change your password to match the one you have on www.hairgasm.com.

This person’s idea was to make a payment to start it this month and completely pay off the cost next month; once paid in full, the MagicPack could be sent to her.

That would work just fine, though the MagicPack cannot be shipped until it is paid in full. In her account, she’d see it taken off her order’s total.

The way to go about this is to go ahead and place and order for the MP. During the checkout process – in the additional notes area – request that a certain amount be paid now (when placing the order), and then to make more payment(s) just let us know and we’ll keep taking that amount off your total.

We can also wait to weigh it (to determine shipping) until the last payment in case you want to add things along the way. (We can add to the order and you’ll see the changes on the invoice.)

While making payments on the full MagicPack order, if you suddenly need to get your brakes fixed on your car you don’t have to worry about losing your money. The paid balance is not refundable, but you can stop the existing MP order and use your balance to order different products. Try not to change your mind too many times, but we all have emergencies crop up and we understand and will work with you.

Our products can only be purchased in the Longhairs Studio and online from our catalog – because we care to provide the freshest products at the best price, directly from the manufacturer. It’s always the real thing and never an imitation.

Actually, you could get our products from a caring friend who is our client; we have friendship and sharing kits coming out soon!

No, it does not.

Although your purchases are appreciated, membership for one-on-one personal care by LML is started by ordering often, visiting us here, and maintaining the MagicPack in its entirety.

Yes, of course! (…but only if you promise to try and use it correctly!)

Please see our Longhairs® Hairgasm® Non-Members catalog, and remember that ordering more saves you postage, though we often add bonuses to help with your postage anyway.

Yes, they are all different in both ways – size variations and content.

When you run out of a component it may be reordered (link opens new tab) accordingly, for your convenience. It’s always better when you plan ahead. Small reorders may seem frugal, but it can make things more complicated and less economical. Once you get familiar with usages, you should order up, and, of course, ahead. Maintain your supply, don’t run out, and then don’t worry. To avoid any feelings of ‘product-supply-anxiety’ from affecting how much you use along the way, reorder larger sizes, or come and refill your MagicPack® and empty containers and relax.

The letter X is used to show you the thickness choices available on our horn combs (link opens new tab); it can be seen as a light-to-heavy scale that is specific to that horn comb style. Some people know that they like a certain weight or solidity to the tool(s) they use, but if you don’t have a preference you can ask DrLonghair® (who had these carved) for a recommendation. Other than that, if you like a rich feeling in your combs, go for a higher number (e.g. 3X), but for scritchers, stay at 1X or less.

The first number (325 in this example) is the comb design.

The second number (12, or 3 in this example) is the thickness of the comb in that design.

The letter on the end (W in this example) stands for the color – this comb design comes in White, as opposed to Ox, which would be B.

You can learn more about using our horn combs or purchase one (opens in new tab) immediately!
