B) You can either pick up a Beginners kit in person and learn on-line with the tutorials with a near-future appointment booked for a hands-on lesson appointment later in the month/weeks-to-come, if needed.

C) You can either pick up a Beginners kit in person during a hands-on lesson+treating appointment so you can be shown first before starting products, helps you learn the feel of what you are aiming for. Includes a feee follow-up visit. (most effective)
or
D) You can come and pick up shampoo conditioner Flexipick in any size review the directions on line and pop in for a free checkup or how-to appointment if needed.
You decide whatever way you learn best will be fine with us.
Do 4-5 TINY latherings once a day, not meaning to wash 4 times daily.
Follow the directions and you won't use too much, (1-2 tablespoons in total it's just distributed very differently in to 4-5 tiny lathers) because it gives the best results used that way because of the herbs aplication and because it is with our gentle Longhairs® products, it does not ever apply to other brands that contain harsh 'one-hit' ingredients, if you don't believe us or refuse to fathom it, that is too bad, because when you try this with our products you will also see it the Longhairs way works. (that IS the point of all this now...isn't it?) It barely adds up in measure, to one regular shampooing of other brands you are used to. Deliberately using not enough is just as bad...experiment for your amounts.
The four tiny lathers are as follows; (apply to palm, rub together, pat pat pat pat all over head area, squish squish squish through add a separate dribble for the ends, apply into crown with palms then massage all evenly throughout, first lather seldom sudses, but contrary to habits of heavily marketed products, the lather SIZE is no indication of effectiveness and is not a ruling factor. Ours is gentler, goes creamy.
Our product does not overclean, any squeak is smoothness like a mirror...
from the top downwards apply the following, (rinsing out well between applications is understood)
1st one -to move the dirt etc.1st tiny lathering 2-4 donuts on palm. Separate dribble for the ends
2nd one -to soften debris and remove it. Also herbalize scalp, and open hair to polish cuticle.2nd tiny lathering 2 thin donuts drawn on palm. Separate dribble for the ends
3rd one -to balance the slate and tone, deposit herbals within, and begin to even out the texture to prepare for the last lathering that is more detangling. 3rd tiny lathering 1 thin donut drawn on palm no need to scrub,Separate dribble for the ends just cream it up.
4-to detangle and stabilize tone and deposit fine herbals, leave in one minute. it will smooth/close the hairshaft prepares for a smooth look and improve comb-through time and conditioning and removes all shampoo trapped in rough hair. Damaged hair or Asian hair can need a tiny 5th go by the feel. Keeps hair smooth and tangle-free longer. You cannot overclean with ours, if you are in a rush, only lather-up the middle two...cream up the first and last... fast....but right, why go half-way? 4th tiny lathering one 'dit' about an inch long (halfway between a dash and a dot or 1/8th 1/16th tsp;-) no need to scrub in the last 2, just evenly cream it around:-) balancing..Separate dribble for the ends
5th dit-sized left on for a minute if needed to balance further and to silkify!!! Separate dribble for the ends
most uneducated users of our Longhairs® products tend to by habit, use too much, lather up too little times, and often found to be not washing often enough... you will use way more product less of an impact of results if you must insist on following that old-school way used for oldschool product they are used to. Why use a product that is harsh once a week when you can use something gentle daily, we medicate, we give care and attention to (more than just 'cat level' of hair care) because WE CAN. and better.
If you choose next to Magicpack (MP) instead of a non-commitment Surprise Kit (SK) then you will get or have available to you, LML and all the support till you are good at your MP, SK, you're on your own.
Membership, MP you get Louise Marie, BTN and SK you don't, (but she still loves you!) AND you get her in a diary and her support site too. You know you will love all the options, if you want to 'wing it' you can try a Surprise Kit, if you want a more guided and informed start, and LML with it...we recommend choose MP complete with Membership.

( LONGHAIRS® BTN Duo Beginners Kit is the way to go if you want to get some practice and 'a good feel of a few of our things) Anytime you feel ready, we can progress to Magicpack. This two-step works out well considering that often a considerable rebalancing period may be recommended before we get fancy with things anyhow. Very Well Planned (toes in the pool, wading in (paddling around a bit), then diving in with more confidence)
Choosing BTN for a period of adjustment (test maybe WE are testing YOU;-), then ordering a Add a non-member SURPRISE BASKET in any denomination for adding spice to your LONGHAIRS® BTN Duo Beginners Kit!!!(full of babysizes useful later for travelling) Usually 35-200 CAD or for any denomination, choose relative to your curiosity level, it provides a small-scale or sample tour of a whole-whack of items from our membership. There is a short routine included, but items are not re-orderable as a non-member, but it may be repeat-ordered as a whole, for even more fun. LML picks this out. THEN when enamored with textures smells and shine...go for the Magicpack!!
Committment will come naturally with time if you love our products, trust yourself, enjoy...and when you are geting bored...you may want to play with a 'Surprise Kit' random things are chosen, like a sampler like a pre Magicpack cruise if you like...

Our Queen of the haircare set with support. Everything by Longhairs® and Hairgasm® you could ever dream of for feeding and growing and care of long or any hair.
This person's idea was to make a payment to start it this month and completely pay off the cost next month. Then once payed in full, the Magicpack could be sent to her.
That would work just fine

In her account, she'd see it taken off her order's total:-) Kinda like saving it up.
OK, The way to officially go about this is for her to go ahead and order the MP she needs, and in additional notes area, she'd request that a certain $ amount be deducted off her creditcard and when she wants to make more payment(s) she would let us know and at such points, we'll keep taking it off her total.
We can even wait with weighing it in to set the shipping up, until her last payment in case she wants to add things to her Magicpack along the way:-) (we can add from the inside of the account and she could see in her invoice on Hairgasm.com wen she logs in and goes there) .
If she decides to get her brakes fixed in the middle of paying it off the paid balance is not refundable but she can stop the MP and re-spend it here at this webside for another kind of order.. but let's try not to change our mind too many times... but if she 'has to' she can use the credit here, that's no problem.

It's for those who want it all...THE set of EVERYTHING your hair needs AND what Louise Marie uses with her clients to provide a well-rounded diet for hair skin and scalp and the future of these in promotion and support of longer better hair. Not excessive or frivolous, more like a 'fridge full of food to cook with' as opposed to a typical hand-to-fist approach of one piece at a time...called a 'supply to prescribe from' for those who have better things to do than constantly shop for needs a piece at a time...we get stuff done, re-stocking as needed, we are planning ahead. Naturally and wonderful!! Naturally more than half of our clientele/users ARE men. (not counting your hubbys) Seems both long and shorthaired men know what they like... and get it... unlike women who are used to being marketed to constantly. No artificial perfumes, our products smell like what they are made of, and thus some pets love to eat our stuff, (with no adverse effects!!)

When you run out of a component it may be re-ordered accordingly, for your convenience. It's always better when you plan ahead. Small re-orders may seem frugal but it can make things more complicated, and less economical. Once you get familiar with usages, you should order up, and of course...ahead. Maintain your supply, don't run out, and then don't worry...To avoid any feelings of 'product-supply-anxiety' from effecting the way and how much you use along the way.., re-order larger sizes... or come and refill your Magicpack, and extra containers from any re-orders...and relax:-) It is learned:-) THEN be surprised how long it lasts;->
Yes of course! After you order your Magicpack Louise Marie will customize it's PROCEDURE AND USE to you, and be your coach:-) You will enjoy her smooth expertise at doing this! A bunch of choices in sizing before purchasing, but mostly done over a few months does in-diary with you and your new kit. She is ready to read all you posts in this private diary on planetlonghair.com.
YES, as long as you like, she allows and feeds our long hair care relationship, happily!!! We even archive volumes of your diary, you are welcome to continuously use the kit forever, and work with us, to your benefit, and it rivets you into successful system usage. Support for members is free, as long as you maintain your Longhairs® Magicpack kit supply in it's entirety. You will learn by reviewing your posts.
Because it just doesn't work out, it is not enough to actually get a grip on things before product-anxiety and need to re-order kicks in. It becomes close to 'over' too soon. Inevitably re-ordering would also be all at once;-( 6-month shampoo sets rule, re-ordering is usually a few things in stock-up sizes instead. The standard MP shampoo set is stable and for a good while. Maybe order a LONGHAIRS® BTN Duo Beginners Kit...Add a non-member SURPRISE BASKET in any denomination for adding spice to your DUO!!!
Getting all 4 components in the 1 year in the Longhairs® Magicpack Catalog section is the best buy for mailorder folks. As immediate locals, (one is welcome maintain a 6 monther or less if someone is a 3-4x per year appointment holder or patient keeping regular of hers or is an in-store client)

Six month-ers of the Magicpacks or related 'put-together' components, these such named items bunches(there are 4 of these) will usually last a fair bit longer than stated, especially if your hair is presently shorter. One bottle that was compared to their old brand, lasted 3 times longer less filler is one reason. Yes... even if you do the recommended 4 tiny lathers. The longer you use our stuff, as directed, the less you need.
It consists of our dear Louise Marie!!!! With your Longhairs® Magicpack she will help along the way by your side, busily setting everything up, doing tests, supervising your on-line-diary notes you'll keep, and prescribing as you evolve. Support is mostly product related, and because she believes in YOU, like you believe in her with the MP you ordered. Support for Longhairs® Magicpackers it is at no extra cost. She is a personal hair trainer, teacher, coach and tutor, but not a waitress, but she always puts alot of care towards your techniques, individualizing and customizing the use of your full Magicpack kit, heading towards making the best of your tools and products you have invested in. We consider Magicpack like having a pallette, learning to paint artistically, but not at all like a paint-by-number. She is very ept at coping with the initially overwhelming feeling of the 'full-fridge' (as opposed to other likes leaving you constantly needy). already there to help you along, otherwise in re-treating and
shampooing it can cause improper and sporadic absorbtion, it will also
make the hair feel odd, it will be unevenly applied. Thus i remind you
no spraying with a spraybottle either, so water used on hands for and
with pretreats, no water on hands (water in hair already) with
everything else:-)
Pretreating we want to taper it out, not actual mixing.
Yes to get full usage benefits around each root up there, you should
do this. #18-ish behavior is especially beneficial with your #19 and #9
as well as #10-B or #10-A, not with #17 much.
Doing #18-like patterns before Flexipicking also assists in
doseing/treating the scalp and hair evenly with the product not only to
physically condition and balance, but doing it so adds body, and
definitely aids in detangling later.
You can even use our Flexipick on its bowed sides to rub in to
speed up shower time. We don't use strange 'product-spreading'
chemicals because not only do I not bilieve in that, but or our herbs

Lets get conditioners into scalp, always applied like
recommended, and scrubbed in gently. Don't add more for scalp...go with

Enough. If you use not enough shampoo in each dose, or don't wash often as daily with those 4-5 little shampoo applications... you'll find that need more conditioner. Be sure to always scrub conditioners into the scalp before detangling. Provided you've used the shampoo as directed... the approximate #10-B conditioner for very long, 2 tablespoons, (#9-Trees version use 3 tbsp) as directed and it should melt in right away, 'if' you shampooed right according to our direction.

You're lucky, your comb got an extra-long oil treatment!
Most of the time we wipe the lanolin off before sending them out. We always do a free treatment to help protect your comb, but if it was a very new freshly carved comb, it hadn't had time to sit and was not soaked in. It was used to enrich your comb, to protect it from elements and moisture and is not a problem.
Here is how you can get the excess off yourself:
Take a damp soft towel and gently without twisting, wipe clean before comb's
use.
To do this easily and best, pinch damp towel or facecloth over tines starting at spine, pull outwards away from tines repeatedly using a clean area of the towel or facecloth every time. An old toothbrush nail brush or old natural bristle hair brush will remove the remaing oil from between the tines.
This special type of lanolin protects our horn combs against moisture changes, and to beautify and extend the life of your Longhairs Horn Combs.
Why can you use a damp towel when the comb needs to be kept dry? because the damp towel in this event will never remove 'all' of the sticky or syrupy treatment, eventually the comb will become sensitive to moisture again, but not right away. It is safe to use the damp towel to clean the oil off because water never penetrates this oil when fresh, and the lint will not stick to the comb like as if you used a dry towel. It is the closest to water that these combs can and should get.
Stimulating tines
...for a very buzzy-feel for mainly scalp, very fine and very buzzy-feel especially for pores and scalp stimulating, medium feeling rubbing/stimulating and rubbing, or more suited for rubbing/combing. one of each of these is a good thing... it's in the tines(teeth).

...for a same but moderated buzzy-feel, because it's designed shape wise for mainly combing hair strands and lengths and fell/swoop scrubby-rubbing, Gorgeous keepsakes, lifetime heirlooms if you use and care for all these well. Got to have one of these too... makes long or any hair shiny!! no tangles.

...for a moderate buzzy-feel as it is for both purposes, combing and scalp all can be used for both stimulating scalp and rubbing. Still feels rrrrrealygooood! Got to have a few of these too... makes roots and strand happy long or any hair shiny but doesn't over stimulate (is that even possible??)!!

'Some of each the area that touch the scalp tines are contoured/curved edge-line, and some are a flat line then there's a different feel and effect with thicker and thinner tines.
'Classics' are good for de-frizzing and for combing straight or straightened hair (avoid styling products not to be used directly with horn combs)
Have LML help or choose some then ask if you want to cover all bases.

Use nothing on your comb to treat it, but lanolin, preferably our lanolin, it is sister to the horn, from the same animal, oil is not just oil, it is not a matter of being 'good'? it must be correct though, it does matter. (I could envision LML making you promise before selling you a raw beauty...use only our unsulfonated lanolin, or nothing. To begin with, it somewhat waterproofs and seals it, any other soakingin will swell-up and ruin your horncomb.
NEVER GET YOUR HORNCOMB WET... NEVER KEEP IT BY YOUR SINK OR IN THE BATHROOM
Absolutely! Yes. no restrictions when we categorize... just different options;-) You are expected to use the finer as scritchers regardless of hair's thickness, but you'd use a no other type to pull through, that is a fine hair option, but pulling a scritcher thru is not mandatory.

With regular salons anything within 3 inches long hair is about the same but for angles.. colouring is the same amount on all, but varied dibs and dabs here n there...not much expertise except with who and when, where maybe why.. (and shove them under the dryer with foils)Long hair to most salons is alot of head-scratching, more water more detangling(not knowing how to wash it) and yup... more blowdrying to cover up the scare-cut or the boring blunt chop.... salons hate the long hair stuff, it's too much work...(..leave it to us;-) So they charge more for it.
There's much more to long hair than whipping out the razors and thinning shears, there's doing it right, and that Louise Marie Longhairs does well...with precision, sculpting, and by not taking the easy way out, it's worth the time. Tired of guessing if IF stylists know what they're doing...IF. they even care? They wouldn't use razors. Razors crack the hair cause split ends frizzies dry-outs tangles nevermind it looks cheap.
People looking for us are not just running their finger down the row in the phone book for who is open on Sundays...or googled salons in the area...looking for the best prices (why not they're all the same with long hair...they all hate the stuff) instead...our clientele wants the trusted long hair specialist.
We did not design this caring environment with transient wanton salon-hoppers in mind, they who want the same thing that they can get anywhere, then just shop for the best price as they can get anywhere 'out there' scouting the pending 5$ up or down from their last 'good-enough' hair cut. But when they've reached the end of the line some will realize there is more...then we'll take them in and treat them right!(never to leave again!)
We understand everyone values different things, but the salons 'out there' and their clienteles (that actually belong to the 'salon circuit') well ...they seem to play hairdressers against each other for prices...stars they know...etc and in the end their clientele get bored easily, and often have less dedication than there is to be had in a clientele that someone one spends personal time on and cares about.
'Out there' salons will never care to have costly websites like ours, spend the hours she works, and even imagine the high-quality products create the recipes, constantly adapt, polish and better her recipes, plus create a caring environment she creates for her loyal and dedicated clientele. ALL that's for our very special folk who care to know the difference. Our clients are proud to say they were glad to find out that we're not prissy, we don't sit around measuring how looong our hair is,
nor are we supremists. We are realistic honest and down-to-earth cool at making our people look hot.

We are all people who pay bills, rents, gas, mortages have kids, even Ms Louise Marie is a student advancing her expertise at naturopathics school, but if you want a great place and experienced stylist that cares... no matter how often you can afford to have the best...but you just care that you do... our clients simply want the best and never settle for less...and better yet, know when they have found it.. We all have to figure out our own math. YES we are a 'nice' place but we also have lots of 'nice' students as clients too, and we always have. We always give them extra bonuses with their visits and purchases.
Once again...some people drink some don't... some order in, some cook healthy at home... some drive some don't... and some people budget themselves to have what they want. Some people like to be hair-happy. If great long-lasting hair is not your priority save 'a case of beers money' and get a topcuts magic cut 'just-a' cut, try your luck there if the price is right...but think again. When you want the best and some work put into your hair, some thought... some heart...you fill out the appointment form and come on in. We're not THAT pricey, top notch but not absolute top notch prices.
If it's a haggle on a whim, there are places for that. white walls, rotating operators/stylists, no nice view, 10 minutes, spray bottle wet-downs, and 3-stroke cuts, we are 30 years beyond what most people cried over last time before they came here. If you want a bargoon and want us to fit into a typical strip-mall budget, please don't blame us for being better.

We understand everyone values different things, but the salons 'out there' and their clienteles (that actually belong to the 'salon circuit') well ...they seem to play hairdressers against each other for prices...stars they know...etc and in the end their clientele get bored easily, and often have less dedication than there is to be had in a clientele that someone one spends personal time on and cares about.
'Out there' salons will never care to have costly websites like ours, spend the hours she works, and even imagine the high-quality products create the recipes, constantly adapt, polish and better her recipes, plus create a caring environment she creates for her loyal and dedicated clientele. ALL that's for our very special folk who care to know the difference. Our clients are proud to say they were glad to find out that we're not prissy, we don't sit around measuring how looong our hair is,
nor are we supremists. We are realistic honest and down-to-earth cool at making our people look hot.

We are all people who pay bills, rents, gas, mortages have kids, even Ms Louise Marie is a student advancing her expertise at naturopathics school, but if you want a great place and experienced stylist that cares... no matter how often you can afford to have the best...but you just care that you do... our clients simply want the best and never settle for less...and better yet, know when they have found it.. We all have to figure out our own math. YES we are a 'nice' place but we also have lots of 'nice' students as clients too, and we always have. We always give them extra bonuses with their visits and purchases.
Once again...some people drink some don't... some order in, some cook healthy at home... some drive some don't... and some people budget themselves to have what they want. Some people like to be hair-happy. If great long-lasting hair is not your priority save 'a case of beers money' and get a topcuts magic cut 'just-a' cut, try your luck there if the price is right...but think again. When you want the best and some work put into your hair, some thought... some heart...you fill out the appointment form and come on in. We're not THAT pricey, top notch but not absolute top notch prices.
If it's a haggle on a whim, there are places for that. white walls, rotating operators/stylists, no nice view, 10 minutes, spray bottle wet-downs, and 3-stroke cuts, we are 30 years beyond what most people cried over last time before they came here. If you want a bargoon and want us to fit into a typical strip-mall budget, please don't blame us for being better.
If you value your hair to be done right, LMLonghairs takes the time you need, and has all the patience and attention to detail that you deserve. We realize it's been a long journey to get here.
