Health AlertsTips Say No to Foiling or Foil Hilights !

We do hilights all the time, streaks accents yes...but we know how to do it many ways to do hilites with out using foils. Using Foils peruses a chemical-reaction between metal and dyes... dyes that are breaking down foil. This speeds up the coloring process or lifting process via chemical reaction. We use a way that is better for your health. Don't let them use foils on you... but if they pooh-pooh-advisories and research, then they don't care, foil is fast and they do it because it is fast and easy-money.

Louise Marie Longhairs 'beef' is not only that it fries chemicals and coatings into the hair but it takes years to get the feeling out.

Common sources of Aluminum buildup

Aluminum

As with the other elements, aluminum is absorbed and accumulated in the body, and has been linked to serious illnesses including osteoporosis, extreme nervousness, anemia, headache, decreased liver and kidney function, forgetfulness, speech disturbances and memory loss.

Antiperspirant

Antiperspirants contain aluminum that is absorbed by your body. It’s best to avoid it all together and use simple soap and water instead. Deodorants aren't as bad as antiperspirants, but I would also avoid using them unless it was made from some form of baking soda.

Water

  • Several douche brands
  • Some baking powders: Most baking powders contain aluminum as an additive, but health food stores
    carry non-aluminum varieties.
  • Refined foods, refined flours, baked goods, processed cheeses, and common table salt
