DON'T>> Don't get it cut off all the time LONGHAIRS® SPLITS NIPPERS or nothing except for visiting LMLonghairs every 10 weeks for her magic touch!)

DO>> Stop blaming your body, luck, your genetics your mother your..well you get it...perhaps you think your hair just doesn't grow?...maybe it's what is in your hairstuff, your store bought products, your dye or your ways of handling even.

DON'T>> Don't look for a gimmick or an easy trick that you think is the one thing you missed doing all these years, there is no nifty trick to growing good hair, it's alot of learning, almost a whole new way of living, like us LONGHAIRS® fanatics HERE do.


DO>> Appreciate the value of LML's acumulated long hair experience. Yes everyone is different. .LONGHAIRS® as a professional is better help than some community hairboard although those have their purpose for people who need handholding or get lonely. Our clients aren't interested in growing x-long hair for attention...for a boast-fest  or a race-to-the-floor,.We are not simply a collection of 'society-ladies' arms-length personal experiences. DON'T>> Don't use any 'protective-coating or split end sealer' stuff, you'll pay for this mistake it will fry long hair under certain conditions like sweat, sun, and just being there is a bad thing Come get it all cleaned out in a session. Marketed color preparations contain the same silicone. LMLONGHAIRS® brand of colors line dont..of course. DO>>>Trim your ends one hair at a time with our specially honed LONGHAIRS® SPLITS NIPPERS between visits with LMLONGHAIRS®.

DON'T>>> Don't get trims like the beauty industry tells you, it's not anything like what Louise Marie does for your hair, no willy-nilly salon-hopping. Realize that with our products, no more of that trimming off the bottom 6-8 week thing is necessary ...it's an old idea not a good idea, unless you use their salon products that are out there. DO>>> Do separate the ideas of inches-removed and the removal of split ends in your mind.

DON'T>>> Don't take off length, when if with our stuff used, only splits if any need removal. Splits often happen if it's not hanging right. LML know how to fix this from perpetuating. Salon-lopping or one-lengthing makes it all worse again too soon. DOING SO DOESN'T TEACH YOU (OR YOUR HAIR,) A THING!!!!

DO>>> Do use our LONGHAIRS® BRAND of long hair products used as directed.

DON'T >>> Don't use our LONGHAIRS® BRAND of products the 'old school ways' be realizing that there is a reason for learning these instructions and amounts.

BASIC LONGHAIRS PRODUCTS instructions rule... if you tried and didn't like our stuff, our products, you most likely didn't use them right!!

DO>>> Do use our specially treated LONGHAIRS® HORN COMBS for combing and for scalp stimulation (always on DRY not wet hair), If it does not feel exciting then your scalp and hairs are not prepared or ready for it, or others products are getting in the way...yet.It makes us at LONGHAIRS® really PURR-R-R-R.

DON'T>> Don't stimulate any scalp as freely as we can do at LONGHAIRS. Horn combs aren't as effective over typical salon products mostly having silicones or petrolatum ingredients and bases or some form of them. any oils or rubbing will rub their plastic-toxins into the scalp, so if it hurts or your horn comb feels sharp it likely isn't...at some point your hair is or was siliconed. You should come to us to get it all cleaned out and ready for our line. Enjoy!!

DO>> drink one or two tablespoons of lemon juice (organic lemon juice is best of course... but it's acually the acidity action itelf that's what we are using, bottled, or fresh, is fine regular, natural or organic better) in 8oz warm water upon rising in the morning, wait 1/2 hour before showering or eating anything. Do this daily... Louise Marie Longhairs says it detoxifies the body and skin from the inside.

DO >>> apply Longhairs #10-B or Longhairs #13-A Bliss tips ends oil starting on the wet wick end of ponytail tip is moisturizing and enriching after washes. On dry tip, smooth along with some water on the palms of your hands... blend and massage thru ends, and over strands. Also or instead, use some #10-b or #19 and braid at night:) LONGHAIRS® #13-B Bliss Butter balm prevents split end and any frizzies... another enriching idea from L M Longhairs;)

DO >>>realize Louise Marie Longhairs says moisture IS WATER, (NOT MORE CHEMICALS) With our products only, we use very little DETERGENT in the products, NO ALCOHOLS but instead, ours utilizes REAL water and preserves it. With our products, use spray bottles or wet hands---your shower also provides water; and using her products, your hair learns to utilize and retain it. Most shine serums, curl serums and anti-frizz serums etc. are derivatives of glycols and such which are water-replacements to prevent frizz, but are SILICONE and actually are keeping water OUT of your hair, and are hair-addictive.

DO>> use Louise Marie Longhairs #13-A OR B on your tips, smoothed with water, replaces those instant gratification products.

DO>> pretreatment #10-B overnite is a great pretreater, but do it this way she says: follow up with some water smoothed on with your hands to power-penetrate #10-B in...

DON'T>> trim splits on your hair tip without putting #13 Bliss tips evenly UNLESS you use our line on a regular basis. Sometimes is just simply a good idea to apply a bit FIRST, or you risk cracking the split strand further.use #13 on dry tips, and relax and nip away, using Louise Marie Longhairs special split-nippers if you order a pair:)

DO>> Apply LONGHAIRS® #3-A or B Blisstips oils when wet & combed for a smooth tip and surface, then re-smooth with tilting a Faux tortoise smoothing comb from the part, in 1 sweep.

DO>> follow Louise Marie Longhairs Kinderbrush strokes with the other hand to cause a full circuit: brush, follow on the sheet of hair at the same time, inches behind the other..The Louise Marie Longhairs Kinderbrush harnesses static while brushing in her products....it stimulates the scalp and draws the product deeper into it.
